Building your foundation is recognizing the tools you require to stay healthy happy and sane, and more importantly using them daily. When you build your foundation it is easier to go throughout the day grounded and ready to take on whatever it has has to throw at you. It's like you're a video game character and you're up against the big mean boss. You don't have to sweat though because you have a backpack filled with special potions and moves to kick his ass and move on to the next level. (I'm so in love with this metaphor).
