Want to know what others are thinking about you?
Please stop poking and prodding your belly, your thighs, you arms. Please stop looking at yourself with that disgusted scowl. Stop staring at your pores, your hair, your acne. And take a step back. Would you let anyone else treat you this way? Wouldn't you cry? Wouldn't you yell? Wouldn't you flip them the bird and tell them to go to hell? So why is it okay for you to do it to yourself? Why aren't you enough? Why do you have to look like an airbrushed 17 year old girl in a fashion magazine. Why is that the expectation you hold for yourself? Why is that the standard you've set? Why would you beat yourself up for not looking like another human being? Think about it. WHY.Are you a hideous beast? Do people run the other way when they see you? Do they throw up in their mouths when they think of you? Do they whisper under their breath "oh my god, did you hear? Jane has cellulite! What a freak!" ?The answer? It's no.You are not an ogre.So stop bullying yourself.Let's end the madness now. When you start thinking a nasty thought, stop and acknowledge it.Ask yourself...is that true?Is it really honestly true?Would someone on the street say that about you?90% of the population is way too wrapped up in their own fears and self-consciousness. They're more worried about what you think of them!As for the other 10%? Yes, there are some mean hearted peeps out there, who are so full of self hate that they do actually think awful things about other people. It's true. But, let's be honest, we both know why they do it. They are so miserable they need to rip others apart to make themselves feel better. But it is only a temporary high and they go right back to being miserable. And being mean to others just adds another layer of frosting to their shit cake. Even if they won't admit it deep down inside, they know the truth. Are you really going to worry about what someone like that has to think about you? I sure hope not darling. It's not a real opinion, it's pain and hatred lashing out at the world, trying to drag others down with them. Don't let them pull you down. Maybe even have some compassion and help pull them up. Flash a smile their way and give a sweet compliment. Have patience if they're touchy and remain calm and kind. They want you to prove the world is cruel hearted hell hole, prove them wrong.
You can do it gorgeous
